Apple AirPods 5: Open-Ear Design, ANC and Smarter Features

Apple AirPods 5 bring a fresh combination of comfort, sound quality and intelligent features to the AirPods range. Their open-ear design is made for comfortable everyday use, while Active Noise Cancellation helps reduce surrounding sounds when you want to focus on your music, podcasts or calls. Apple says the new model offers up to 1.5 times more noise cancellation than the previous generation.

Inside, a redesigned acoustic architecture and next-generation Adaptive EQ are designed to deliver richer detail and a more immersive listening experience. Personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking adds a three-dimensional feel to compatible music, films and games.

AirPods 5 are also built around Apple’s H2 chip, enabling features such as Voice Isolation, Siri AI and Live Translation in supported languages and regions. The earbuds include dual beamforming microphones for clearer calls and studio-quality recordings, along with an IP57 rating for improved resistance to dust, sweat and water.

There are two versions available: AirPods 5 and AirPods 5 with a Wireless Charging Case. Battery life reaches up to four hours with ANC on the standard model and up to five hours on the wireless-charging version. Both models support USB-C charging, while the Wireless Charging Case can also be charged using an Apple Watch charger or Qi charger.
